iPhone is an internet ready multimedia smart phone manufactured and marketed by Apple Inc. The highlight of this unique phone model is its touch screen, integrated with multi-touch options. The lack of a physical input device like keyboard is substituted with a virtual keyboard rendering, at times of necessity.

The phone is a combination of a camera, portable media player and an internet client. iPhone supports EDGE and Wi-Fi connectivity, the working of which depends on the network service provider chosen.

Improved and upgraded version of iPhone is now in the market, named iPhone 3G. It includes the most craved 3G feature and many other user friendly changes, like the inclusion of a Bluetooth device. Now this new model is a big hit in the market, with its high end multi touch screen technology, Bluetooth data transfer and 16GB internal memory.

Over 3 million units have been claimed to be sold in the first month of its release, which is way ahead from the sales figures of the other company mobiles. The initial release was made in twenty four countries, which would increase widely in a couple of years.

The original iPhone was made of aluminum and plastic combination, which did not look attractive. The latest iPhone 3G is made up with hard plastic material adding up the appearance quality. Ambient light censors are fitted in the back of the phone, to enhance the usage of camera and screen brightness.

Two speakers are placed on the sides of the phone, giving optimum speaker clarity. The touch screen is 9cm long with a capacity to render 262,144 colors. The light censors help in adjusting the brightness of the touch screen and saves battery life.

INTRODUCING AMAZON KINDLE FOR IPHONE APPLICATIONS

The recently released Kindle for iPhone applications by Amazon has provided iPhone users the opportunity of enjoying the outstanding e-book reading experienced known from all Kindle ebook reader models. It has given all iPhone holders the rare opportunity to enjoy more than 240,000 Kindle-formatted books from Amazon's e-book library without the need to buy Kindle readers. What's more fun is that this Kindle iPhone application can be downloaded for free. All you need to do is gain access to Amazon's Application Store.

For several months amazon has been working for their iPhone-enabled Kindle applications. Seeing the software as the way to introduce non-Kindle users or owners to the power of their remarkable product, Amazon hopes that software accessible and usable to the iPhone crowd will pave way for more people to gain interest to their products. In addition, the software also presents all Kindle owners with additional ways of reading and enjoying their downloaded content while on the go.

The free Kindle applications software enables the users of popular Apple mobile devices to download and read ebooks from Amazon's Kindle store. After the software is successfully installed, it will enable users to send ebook content to their iPhone or ipod Touch. Once the software is launched, the user will be greeted by a setup screen, asking him to log in to his Amazon account. After typing-in the username and password, the user is not bound to meet his empty bookshelf, which will be filled once he starts downloading ebook content. Sadly, ebook content browsing and download cannot be performed by directly using the Apple gadget. You will need your Mac or PC to buy books on the Amazon site. However, this issue may be addressed with the release of Amazon's later software versions.

The actual Kindle for Iphone software carries most of the applications that one can expect from an ebook reader. It allows font size adjustments, bookmarking of pages and chapter jumps, but the software does not offer note-typing capabilities. However, it brings more fun to ebook reading experience as it adds portrait or landscape reading mode, alternate background and text color settings and pinch to zoom image features to your usual iPhone reading routine.

To those who own a Kindle 1 or Kindle 2, they can sync their bookmarks and notes with their free iPhone Kindle applications. In general, there is nothing revolutionary about the software. However, what's important is that it works well in giving iPhones to capability to store and display highly legible text. While it competes with other software such as Bookworm, Readdle and Stanza, none of the mentioned software can match the selection of text presented by the Amazon Kindle Store.

For avid ebook readers, the Kindle software holds a number of advantages. For one thing, the software will vastly increase the number of books that are available for iPhone. This is a good offset to the software's inability to enable newspaper and magazine subscriptions to iPhone applications. Once you set up your Amazon account, iPhone users can now enjoy the massive selections of ebook content that are available only at Amazon.

Why the Apple Bluetooth Headset...

Why the Apple Bluetooth Headset is Not the iPhone's Best Complement

Apple's first accessory for the iPhone is it's minimalist bluetooth headset. Unfortunately this device doesn't live up to the company's highest standards. Apple's headset doesn't do everything other headsets can.

The good:
Is a stylish headset with a very easy pairing process made just for the iPhone. The controls are simple, there is only one button for everything. It comes with its own charging dock. The charging dock has one slot for the iPhone, and one slot for the headset. Using the charging dock, the iPhone and the headset's battery status show up on the screen.

The bad:
The iPhone bluetooth headset lacks a few basic features:

Call mute and redial - You get the regular abilities to answer and end calls, but don't bet on anything like last number redial or call mute.

Volume control - It doesn't have a volume control on the headset itself, if you need to adjust the volume, you'll have to change it with the iPhone.

Noise cancellation - There is no noise-cancellation/reduction technology.

Sound quality - It's not comparable to others headsets in the market, and the voices don't sound very natural. Just don't expect quality sound in an especially noisy or crowded environment.

Integration - Fails to deliver the full potential of the iPhone.

Battery life - The battery life was nowhere near the five hours of talk time and 72 hours of standby time as advertised.

Price - Is overpriced for the benefits it has.

Apple is the master of design and good looks, but there are no practical ergonomics implemented into this device. It's strictly a one-size-fits-all ear bud arrangement. The earpiece is too big and after awhile of use, it begins to hurt the ear. The ear covers help a little but that makes it larger. The battery can't hold a charge, it literally needs to be recharged every few hours, that makes it pretty worthless for people who depend on it.

Rather than any major performance advantage, Apple's bluetooth headset appeal is almost entirely in its shape, size and simplicity.

YouTube Ringtones for iPhone

YouTube: it's another craze as big as smartphones (maybe even more so ). Which is why it was only a matter of time before all the various smartphone makers made sure to come up with ways that their customers could access and view YouTube videos through their smartphones.

Many have made the grade, some are still trying - with the Apple iPhone being the latest to join in. Only, as is par for the course with the ever-innovative, pioneering Apple (never one to be outdone, or even beaten to the proverbial punch), the new technology takes YouTube for smartphones into a whole new arena - and one, at that, that makes one wonder what took them (or anyone) so long to think of it.

It's called "iRinger" and it's a third-party downloadable application that empowers iPhone users to convert YouTube videos into ringtones. Because if YouTube is the web's top video site, and the iPhone is the world's most celebrated smartphone, then ringtones are likewise one of the most popular and profitable smartphone features.

Furthermore, iRinger doesn't only convert YouTube videos into ringtones but videos from most other major video sites (such as Google). What's more, not only does iRinger let iPhone users convert online videos into ringtones, but MP3s audio files as well - including songs users may already own in their iTunes library.

YouTube videos have become such a sensation, that many of them wind up getting play on the evening news or even become widespread cultural phenomena. Consider the sobbing, freaked out fan pleading for people to "Leave Britney Alone", or the young police officer who called 911 because he thought he and his wife were overdosing on the cannabis he stole from his department ("I think we're either dying or we're already dead, I can't tell, but everything is moving really slowly"), or the myriad bloopers and blunders from every major media figure from pundits to politicos. Now consider any of these (or any of your other favorites) as the signal your iPhone gives you to let you know that your best friend or ex-boyfriend or mother is calling.
iRinger is free to download and is capable of making ringtones up to 30 seconds long.

Free iPhone Screen Protector

FREE!! iPhone Screen Protector....

This is one iPhone accessory that any iPhone user should always have-- the iPhone screen protector. Since iPhone is has a touch screen LCD, it will more likely to have scratches from nails or dust and oil from the hands. We all know how difficult it is to clean the iPhone's LCD or oil and fingerprints. That's why screen protector is a must and the first accessory that our iPhone needs.

I once bought this screen protector for my iPhone and I threw it away after a few days of using it. It didn't have a good adhesive. I felt like I was having a place mat on a table. It always moved whenever I use the touch screen. When I try to put it in its proper place, it got oil and bubbles. I thought it was just useless.

Then I found this new screen protector and I was impressed. First, it is not flimsy. Second it doesn't get in the way of my use of the LCD and the touchscreen. It also has a very good adhesive. When pull it up, it doesn't have any residue or any bubbles.

It feels as though I was not using any screen protector. My fingers glide smoothly and the touch screen responds very quickly which means that the protector is not very thick. This is my first investment after I bought my iPhone 3G.

I don't like putting my iPhone in its bag because it is bulky. I just want to put it inside my pocket and just get it immediately from my pocket whenever I need to call someone or whenever somebody's calling me. That's why I really need a dependable protector. So far, my iPhone doesn't have a single scratch even if I'm not putting it in a bag.

Here's how to get Free iPhone Screen Protector. Enjoy!

Get It For Free....

Download Games Onto iPhone

Do you know how to download games onto iPhones and get it for free today? The trick is to know where to go and what computer hardware and software is needed. It is important to have this knowledge to download games onto iPhones to get it for free today.

Although downloading is a wonderful way to get games, one should not forget that there is another way to play them: Use the iPhone web browser. This is great for users who do not wish to download "viruses or Trojans" but not so great for travelers.

Why is this a drawback? Should a person be out of their "coverage" area, being able to access these games are nonexistent. This is why downloading iPhone games are so popular. The games are readily available whenever the person wishes to play.

What kind of computer should be used when downloading the iPhone games? Believe it or not, a computer that has the basic essentials such as a modem, a large hard drive and RAM will suffice. A computer that is ten years old or younger will do.

The computer's modem is essential when trying to download from the Internet. A computer, which has dial-up as the primary way to gain Internet access, will take much longer to get games downloaded. A computer that has a high-speed connection will take twice as fast and can get more downloaded in less time.

Now, where can a person get these "downloaded games"? The choice made should be from a site where a person can repeatedly download. No doubt used often but never recommended are torrent sites or better known as P2P (peer to peer) sites.

Why are they not recommended? These sites are a breeding ground for viruses, Trojans, spyware, adware and even malware. The files a person is downloading cannot be verified and may not be what they are named.

These sites also contain software that should not be downloaded, making them illegal. If a person is caught downloading them, they could go to jail/prison and be made to do restitution. This can be especially expensive for music downloaded in bulk or computer software that is not considered freeware.

So where can someone download games for free without getting into any trouble? Sites that offer unlimited game download for a one-time fee often times work out best. Why? The fee goes toward the site's maintenance and game records. This way the website's coordinators and operators are able to maintain new games and high-speed access for visitors. A person can also download movies and music not just games from the one-time fee.

You Can Finally Enjoy Your iPhone! Take advantage of these costs while the prices are still low. If the iPhone gains popularity much like the iPods have over the years, then we are more than likely to see more versions of it.

With technology and information moving at the speed of light people find themselves needing to stay connected to friends, family and business ever more so much that at times it seems like it's almost impossible to go without access.

In today's ever changing war of cell phone manufacturers and wireless cell phone carriers the playing field has just gotten a bit more challenging for the weaker competition.

By now many of people have seen the iPhone and thought more than once about buying it. However, there seems to be a few common drawbacks to the iPhone like its spotty carrier service and lack of cell phone insurance if the cell phone becomes damaged. So basically, if you drop the iPhone and damage it you have purchase a new one.

On the heels of the iPhone are two leaders in the Smart phone game and they are the Palm Pre and Blackberry Storm.

In November of 2008, Blackberry entered the touch screen cell phone market with the robust and powerful Blackberry Storm offered exclusively by Verizon Wireless.

With the industry now having two choices for touch screen cell phones I have listed a few specifications for the Blackberry Storm.

1. The Blackberry Storm has wireless email, 3.2 megapixel camera, video recording, built-in GPS, Blackberry Maps, corporate data access, SMS and MMS.

2. The size and weight of the Blackberry is amazingly small as compared to earlier Blackberry models. The size and weight specs are as follows: 4.43"/112.5mm (Length), 2.45"/62.2mm (Width), 0.55"/13.95mm (Depth), 5.5 oz/155g (Weight)

3. The Blackberry has taken a page from the iPhone playbook by adding a SurePress touch screen, on screen keyboard with SureType and multi-tap Qwerty landscape.

4. It comes equipped with 3.5mm stereo headset capability, built-in microphone and BlueTooth.

5. The smart phone supports the following audio and video formats (MPEG4 H.263, MPEG4 Part 2 Simple Profile, H.264, WMV) (MP3, AAC, AAC+, eAAC+, WMA, WMA ProPlus).

6. The Blackberry Storm comes with the strongest battery life of any cell phone and has up to 15 days (Standby time), GSM up to 5.5 hours and CDMA up to 6 hours.

7. The Blackberry Storm offers users the option of expanding their memory support for microSD cards, 1GB of onboard memory and 128 MB of Flash Memory.

iPhone Compared to Blackberry....

Comparing iPhone to Blackberry is just like comparing a Mercedes E class with a Lincoln Towncar. The BB tried to imitate some goodies from the iPhone, but basically they remained with their Typical bulky looks. Here I am referring to Blackberry Storm or Blackberry Bold. Everyone has their own personal perception on differences.

iPhone Pros .....
- Sleek design and sexy looks. - Excellent user interface. - Excellent stability for most of the applications. - The presence of lots of useful applications from the applications store is icing. - If you are a Mac Programmer, you can make an application for your very own needs due to the availability of the excellent SDK. - Easily the best to device to hit the market since.....well, BlackBerry. I love the screen size, the applications, ease of use, safari browser, its iconic status, push email etc etc

iPhone Cons ....
- Not yet great for enterprise use. - Not as sturdy as the Blackberry and needs to be used delicately. - Lacks the keyboards, which makes it really difficult to mail etc. - Lacks Video recording. - Lacks MMS, but this limitation is overcome as you have excellent browsing and mailing options. - Can't forward SMS and a real struggle to get MMS. Another downside is you can't have multiple (non apple) apps running simultaneously which is a drawback if you want a decent sat nav application and then run something else! - Battery life is a bit poor but this is probably because the thing is so damn irresistible, that the screen is on most of the day!

Since I am comparing iPhone with BB, the pros in iPhone are more like Cons in BB and vice versa.
Generally for the Bold - A real bruiser of a device and easier to compose emails than the iPhone. When you whip out a Blackberry, it says "this guy is all business" where as the iPhone says "this guy is fun". Most folks use any functionality other than email, calendar and contacts but that's always the way with a Blackberry - they just work!

It really boils down to the features that are critical to you. For eg, SMS usability, MMS, enterprise application integration, Flash, etc.
Both Apple and RIM are trying to reach beyond their usual demographic market which is only natural in this economy. The iPhone is a clever leisure gadget trying to make its way into the corporate world. The BB Storm comes from a no nonsense family of reliable corporate communications where it has cornered the market. Both have great features with minor drawbacks, however, its only a matter of time before both phones evolve to where the technical comparison is near comparable.

The only thing that will separate the two phones is clever marketing, cult followers, and consumer perceptions. Ask yourself if you'd rather close an important business deal with someone who carried an iPhone or Blackberry. The questions you'll need to ask is which phone would you want to be seen with by business associates? By friends? Which phone would be your preference because both, in time, will get the job done just the same.

For a more scientific approach I suggest that you list your requirements, and then prioritize or rank them. Then you can assess the features of iPhone vs Blackberry and score them. Finally, add up the score in the features list and you have your winner....

Which the best...?

"BOLD vs STORM !!!"

The Blackberry Bold and Blackberry Storm have lots of similarities. That is because these devices have the same manufacturer.

So before you compare their differences it would be useful to know the similarities of these two Blackberry smartphones.

The Defining Features of Bold and Storm
Both smartphones are fully supported on the HSDPA network. They have GPS navigation capabilities and feature the BlackBerry Maps application. Both also work on the BlackBerry operating system so you will probably see similar user interface.

Blackberry Bold and Blackberry Storm have QUERTY keyboards but you can also fully navigate the phones through their touchscreen features. Basically, the design elements, sizes, thickness, camera features, and other add-ons of Bold and Storm would be fairly similar.

Key Differences of Bold and Storm
1. Network Support Specifications
The Bold unit of Blackberry is supported on HSDPA network on the 850, 1900, 2100 megahertz frequency. Essentially, Bold is fully supported on a triple band HSDPA network. The Storm unit however is only supported on the 2100 megahertz frequency and CDMA.
Basically when you consider the network specs of the two Blackberry smartphones, the Bold Blackberry has a big advantage over Storm.

2. Display Resolution and Performance
Both Storm and Bold have touchscreen display. However, Blackberry Storm has an edge over Bold in this aspect. Storm has a 3.25 inch TFT LCD display with screen resolution of 360 x 480 pixels. Bold on the other hand only has 2.75 inch display screen with 480 x 320 pixels resolution.
Another big plus for the Storm is its built-in accelerometer which is surprisingly absent in Bold. When you rotate Storm, its screen display will also automatically rotate to match the view of the user. With an accelerometer, Storm can also display crisp video resolution on its HD screen.

3. Connectivity and Internet Speed
Blackberry Bold takes the upper hand when it comes to connectivity and net speed. Bold can support Wi-Fi connectivity on the 802.11 profiles. Surprisingly for a smartphone, the Blackberry Storm does not have Wi-Fi support.
When you use Bold, you can enjoy unlimited data transfer especially if you are in a Wi-Fi hotspot. This capability would be absent in Storm.

These are the most basic and the key differences between Bold and Storm models of Blackberry. Aside from these, Storm is also heavier than Bold by 20 grams. Both mobile phones however have almost similar dimensions.

Knowing these key similarities and differences, it is up to you to decide which Blackberry could answer your mobile communication and computing needs.

Blackberry Ringtones....

The Blackberry is a device that combines the major features of a mobile phone, a desktop computer and a PDA. A variety of games, entertainment, business and personal productivity tools to keep you entertained and help you at work are also available for the Blackberry.

Many service providers today are using the Blackberry-manufactured handsets for their subscribers too. There is a huge treasure trove of ringtones available online and the ease with which you can get online with your Blackberry helps you further when seeking them. But many models of the Blackberry such as the 6720, 7230, 7290, 7730 and 7780 only support monophonic ring tones. Whereas 7100g, 7100t, v and x models support both monophonic and polyphonic tones.

The latest model, the 7130, supports all types of ring tones including real, flix and sound FX ring tones as well as the mono and polyphonic ones. Hence, the user needs to understand any potential compatibility issues before downloading their favorite ringtones. Also, as the Blackberry can connect directly to the Internet, one needs to be cautious of viruses and spyware. Blackberry users have to be careful when downloading ringtones, and only choose secure sites that they know they can trust.

As the Blackberry is one of the most advanced handsets on the market today, the users are also looking for high-end ring tones with great clarity and sound quality. The official Web site provides numerous tools and entertainment possibilities for the Blackberry user. Also, because of its increasing popularity, many portals use it as a way to market their other services and products. This has given the Blackberry user a seemingly endless choice of ringtones to enjoy and show off to the world.

A Blackberry With a Touch Screen

The Blackberry Storm !!!

This is Blackberry's very first phone with a touch screen, and it happens to be a full screen phone as well.

Your new phone is ready to use, out-of-the-box, as it comes with a travel charger with an assortment of adapters, a USB cable, an 8GB microSD card, a SIM card, a wired headset, a software CD, and user manual.

The features, available on this phone, are amazing. You have a 3.2 megapixel camera, built-in GPS, media player, video recording, email, organizer, phone, browser, corporate data access, and SMS / MMS.

The Storm comes with Blackberry's standard operating system - Blackberry OS 4.7. DataViz Documents - standard edition - also comes with the phone. This application allows you to modify documents, such as word and excel, right from your phone. If you are looking to create new documents, as well, you will need to upgrade to the Premium Edition of DataViz.

The Storm is one of the first smart phones to take advantage of SurePress. This technology changes the way users interact with the touch screen; SurePress makes the screen clickable. While it takes a bit to get used to, if you are used to other touch screens, it is a nice bonus to the phone.

The Storms 3.25-inch TFT LCD touch screen has a resolution of 480 x 360 pixels. Additionally, there is support for over 65,000 colors. The combination of these features provides consumers with sharp imagery every time they look at their display.

Unlike many other phones, consumers have the ability to adjust backlighting, and change the font size and type on their display. Additionally, there is an accelerometer tightly integrated into this unit. This device changes the display from portrait to landscape, and landscape to portrait, depending on the position in which the phone is being held.

There is, obviously, no keyboard on this phone. The keyboard is accessible via the display. There are two types of keyboards available on this phone, QWERTY and SureType. The type of keyboard available is 100% dependent on whether you are in portrait or landscape mode. (SureType - Landscape; QWERTY - Portrait)

As with any touch screen keyboard, these keyboards are a bit minuscule and difficult to use. For those of you with smaller hands, this may not be a problem. However, for those with larger hands, typing accurately will become an annoyance.

The overall design, of the Blackberry Storm, is durable and fits nicely in the palm of your hand. There is nothing significant about its 4.43 x 2.45 x 0.55 inch casing. The Storms weight, 5.5 ounces, is nothing to write home about. The measurements, along with the weight, are comparable to other smart phones on the market.

One of the advantages, to the Blackberry Storm, is the battery life - with 15 days of standby time and 6 hours of talk time - this smart phone lasts longer than many others do. On the other hand, overall performance, from this unit, has been disappointing. Firmware upgrades have not even been able to fix all of the performance issues.

On the whole, this is a Blackberry phone. It is backed by a good name and warranty. If you are looking for a standard smart phone, at a decent price, the Storm is a good pick for you.

iPhone TV Online

The iPhone continues to amaze millions with its capabilities. The most recent trend has been with online video.

While it is true that some video does not work on the iPhone (i.e. Flash), the important thing to note is that H.264 and Quicktime based streaming video does.

With that well understood, a variety of major studios have placed video content online for the iPhone.

Full episodes include 30 Rock, Beverly Hills 90210, Buck Rogers in the 25th Century, Crusoe, Days of our Lives, Heroes, Kath & Kim, Knight Rider, Life, Lipstick Jungle, MacGyver, My Own Worst Enemy, The Office, Smart Girls at the Party, Star Trek, and The Young and the Restless.

Webisodes and segments include Battlestar Galactica, Cartoon Networks's, Flapjack, Disney's Pixar Mater's Tall Tales, The Late Show with David Letterman, Mythbusters, Criss Angel's Mindfreak, as well as other selections on the ABC, Animal Planet, Biography, Discovery, E! Online, Food Network, G4 TV, and Travel Channel sites.

Previews, sports, and news clips are also available on CBS News, CBS Sports, ESPN, FOX Sports Network, MSNBC, and The Weather Channel.
So what's the catch? The iPhone is a bit small to watch for extended periods, and generally, Wi-Fi over 3G is recommended.

So would you, since you could? In general, the video on the iPhone is perfect for catching a current news clip of a pilot landing on water or amusing the kids while waiting for the doctor.

To find all the great video sites for the iPhone, open the Safari browser and type in "iphone.spreety.com".

Where to Download For Dirt Cheap Prices...

iPhone Movie Downloads

iPhone movie downloads are selling like hot cakes now. With the new iPhone emerging on the market, hundreds of thousands of the new phone-cum-iPod are sold overnight. This also means that all of a sudden, there are the same numbers of owners wanting to lay their hands on iPhone movie downloads for their new gadgets.

Where are the folks going for the iPhone movies?
iPhones come in two versions, the 4 GB and the 8 GB models. A movie is typically 700 MB in size, so for a 4 GB model, it can easily store one or two nice movies. Not much very compared with the iPod but still, we must remember that it is first a phone then an MP4 player. Whichever the case, people are still interested to download iPhone movies for a cheap price.

iTunes, the parent site of course is a natural place to think of when looking for iPhone movie downloads. But with so many competitors nowadays as well as conversion software around, these online movie stores like Walmart, Amazon and so on are giving it a run for their money. Prices can range from below $10 to higher prices depending on the agreements they have worked out with the movie studios.

The next favorite places to feed your iPhone with iPhone movie downloads would be the paid membership services. These services run on a subscription basis. For a fee of less than $49.95, you can practically enter the site and download as many movies as you wish. Many genres, classics and the latest blockbusters are available for the price of one DVD. You get to keep and watch any full length DVD quality movie once you have paid a flat-fee and never be billed per download.

Certainly, looking at the various options, it is clear that many are flocking to these movie sites that offer lifetime membership to download movies for their iPhones. The trouble is, with dozens of choices, it is hard to pick the right one.
Save yourself the trouble and read up some tips at my iPhone blog to select the best site for your iPhone movie downloads.

Unlimited iPhone Downloads - 5 Tips to Pick the Right Download Site

iPhone owners are the proudest techno owners of the latest technology gizmos. It is not surprising that they are looking for unlimited iPhone downloads to load their gadgets. After all, with an 8GB flash drive and battery life that allows for video playback of up to 7 hours and audio playback of up to 24 hours, you can listen to music on your phone for a long time.

So here we are with 5 cool tips to pick the right download site for unlimited iPhone downloads.

1. Price of the Downloads - Free, Paid Per Membership or Per Download
This is important. There are many sites that offer so called free iPhone downloads. My advice is to avoid them all together. Why? There have been complaints from users about spyware, adware and virus exposures when downloading from these sites. The free services would require you to install client software and in the process, these harmful applications get onto your computer, resulting in slower PC performance.
Paid membership sites on the other hand charge you either for per download or a lifetime flat fee. Go with the lifetime membership services. You get unlimited iPhone downloads of music, movies, games, videos and software for a small nominal fee of less than $49 in most instances.

2. Selection of Media Files
iPhones are great not only as a communications tool but also as a digital portable player. There are membership services that offer you more than just music files. Top sites often also provide movies, episodes of TV shows, videos, music videos and even games. Do check the site to ensure that you are getting unlimited iPhone downloads with the most frequently updated services.

3. Ease of Use
The site must be easy to navigate around. You do not want to spend hours figuring out how to download music for your cell phone. Ready guides with concise step by step instructions must be available as well as a user-friendly download environment. They should also provide downloading software as well as file format conversion software for free so that certain files can be converted to iPhone-compatible formats.

4. Fast Download Speeds
Some download sites are speedsters while others crawl like snails. Since you are paying, why not get the quickest download speeds? If not, what is the use of having unlimited iPhone downloads when it takes forever to access them?

5. Technical and Customer Support
Make sure you go for services with excellent after-sales technical and customer support. This is important since many services often paint a nice picture before sales only to offer poor support after that. Fortunately, there are several top services that do perform well in this aspect.

These are the tips that would come in handy when you go shopping for a download site to download music, movies, videos and games for your new toy. Short cut the whole shopping process and read a review of where people are going for unlimited iPhone downloads for their iPhones at my music blog.

Netbooks Vs iPhone

NETBOOKS Vs IPHONE......

Everyone knows what an iPhone is. It has been at the centre of technology buzz since it was released. The latest variant, the iPhone 3G comes with 3G mobile broadband and combines with Apples Safari internet browser. It combines 3 consoles, a phone, a music player and a internet browsing device.

But it shares many similar functions to a mini laptop; the question is which is better?

Turning on

Both have a simple on button but time to take to load up varies. With Linux, the time can be as short as 15 seconds, although Windows XP will take longer. The iPhone will take around 20-25 seconds from turning on to being ready to use.

>>> Winner is this category: Netbook

Typing
Typing on both isn't the same as on a desktop, but the netbook still has the edge here. It has a full qwerty keyboard rarely less than 80% the size of a full size keyboard. It takes practice to type quickly on the iPhone's 3.5" touchscreen - I find it fastest with two thumbs, but accuracy is compromised. If you need to be accurate, using the corner of your finger helps. Still, it's difficult, especially when you've got a protective case on to stop scratching the back.

>>> Winner is this category: Netbook

Browsing
Apple safari as its limitations, but the version on the iPhone is more than adequate. Still, the Mozilla Firefox or Windows Internet Explorer are capable of viewing a lot more and it working. You can surf easier on netbooks, fill in forms quicker and open more windows.

>>> Winner is this category: Netbook

Communications
The iPhone was essentially built entirely as an application for communication. Netbooks are designed for another role. As a phone, it would seemingly have the upper hand on communications, what with it's 3G internet and wifi. Netbooks don't generally come as standard with 3G, but wifi is standard. The rise of Skype and other internet phone companies make the netbook very competitive - but it would look a bit strange talking into your microphone of your mini laptop on your typical commute

>>> Winner is this category: iPhone

Portability
The iPhone is easily small enough to fit in a pocket, so perhaps is an easy winner here. Still, most of us carry a bag or something similar around with us, which a netbook can easily slip into. The new Sony VAIO P Series can easily slip into a jacket pocket.

>>> Winner is this category: iPhone

Cost

Netbooks typically cost between £200-300, whilst your unofficially unlocked iPhone will cost between £350-400 depending on where you want to buy. You can only but the official factory unlocked iPhones in countries where it is illegal to sell locked phones like Belgium, New Zealand, Italy, Australia, France, Germany and Singapore. Officially unlocked iPhones will set you back around £500 - and the price keeps rising as the pound weakens.

Overall: Netbook wins !!!
